Dollhouse, Miskolc

There are a lot of museums in Miskolc. Each of them is thematic and introduces the exhibits relating to a particular topic to visitors. All of them will entertain adults and are unlikely to interest children. But there is a museum in this city, out of which the little ones, especially girls, will not want to go out. This is the Dollhouse. The museum managed to collect more than two hundred and fifty dolls, made of a variety of materials. Here you can see porcelain, rubber, paper, vinyl and plastic toys. There are modern ones and dolls with a history. For the convenience of visitors, the exhibits are placed on two levels, so that each doll can be easily viewed.

In the Dollhouse you can also read about the production of porcelain puppet heads and other items, or listen to information about it during the excursion.

How to get there

The Dollhouse is located not far from the Diosgyor castle, on Nagy Lajos Király street, 1. You can get here by bus number 1 from Tiszai Railway Station.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 to 15:00 and 16:30 to 20:00; Saturday – Sunday: from 12:00 to 20:00; day off – Monday.
