Museum of Mining, Miskolc

The Museum of Mining in Miskolc was opened in 2008. The main goal of such an unusual exhibition is the veneration of hard-working people of this profession. After all, modern aggregates and technologies did not always exist. The long history of mining has confirmed how strong a person can be, in particular a miner. Once upon a time in Miskolc and its environs the mining business flourished, much more active than now. The museum collection testifies to those times.

Opening hours of the museum: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 13:00.
