Pannon Sea Museum, Miskolc
The Pannon Sea Museum in Miskolc is a branch of the Otto Herman Museum. The exposition presents archaeological finds of the Tertiary and Quaternary periods of the Cenozoic era of the Earth, before the anthropogenic era. Visitors can get acquainted with geological and paleontological monuments of the Pannonian basin. Minerals and their combinations, rare and unusual geological exhibits cause admiration of the wonders of nature. Here, fossilized tree trunks and other exhibits of the plant world of the Miocene period are exhibited.
Together with permanent exhibitions, the museum often hosts exhibitions and other events.

The museum of the Pannon Sea in Miskolc can be reached by buses No. 2, 12, 14, 20, 28, 34, 35. Stop: Népkert.
Opening hours: the museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00 except on Sundays.
