Hollókő
Hollókő - a small picturesque village located in the northern part of Hungary. It was founded in the 17-18 centuries and is a unique example of national architecture and traditional way of life of indigenous people in the country. The village is protected by UNESCO and is the cultural heritage of the country.
On its narrow streets you can see the extant ancient mud-brick buildings, carefully guarded by the locals. In Hollókő remain different crafts such as pottery, traditional embroidery, wood carving and more.
You can reach the village by bus, which departs daily from Budapest. The exact schedule is desirable to specify in advance, because it depends on the season. You can also get transfers, reaching the Halleck with its neighboring towns.
