Aggtelek National Park
Aggtelek National Park is located in the northern region of Hungary in Gemer-Tora Karst. This park is the first national park, which is focused on the conservation of natural caves and surface formations.
Three-quarters of the area of the park is covered by forests and cliffs. It is home to more than four hundred different species of birds. Two hundred available in the park cavers explored caves are open to visitors and tourists. In some caves with unique healing microclimate are special sanatorium room, which has hosted everyone healthier.
To get to the national park Aggtelek by bus, which runs from Budapest to the village of the same name, located right in the park.
