Heroes' Square, Miskolc

One of the most beautiful places in the center of Miskolc is, of course, Heroes' Square. It is surrounded by houses, in the architecture of which you can see the Baroque style. Today, several schools are opened in these historic buildings, as well as various organizations. The square is laid with beautiful tiles and in the center trees and flowers are planted. The most interesting sights of the Heroes' Square:

• There is the Minorite Church here. The temple is open.
• In the Southern part of the square you can see the old synagogue.
• As usual in the squares, there is also a pretty fountain.
• In the heart of the square, the Monument to Heroes of Miskolc is its main attraction.

How to get there

You can get to the Heroes' Square on one of the buses: No. 1É, 14, 20G, 28, 34, 35, 35R, 43, 44, 280 to the Heroes' Square stop. Or by the bus No. 11 to the Kazinczy Ferenc utca stop. Lots of attractions of Miskolc are located nearby, so you can easily plan your travel route.
