Eszterhazy Palace
In the Hungarian city Ferted the world-famous Palace of Esterhazy. This construction of the Baroque period is considered one of the most luxurious in Hungary.
Its construction was started in 1720 by order of József Esterházy. Directed the work of the Viennese architect Anton Ehrhardt Martinelli. In just three months hunting lodge was built, which was later turned into a palace.
The main feature of this unique structure are the wrought-iron gate, located at the main entrance. The building itself is rightly earned the name "Hungarian Versailles". On both sides to adjoin the magnificent staircase, decorated with statues, columns and pedestals. Inside the palace is 126 luxurious rooms, which staged lavish balls.
You can get to the castle on the train ride to the town of Sopron. There should transfer to the bus that will take you directly to your destination.
