Rock Chapel, Miskolc

The chapel in one of the rocks in Miskolc was built in 1934 and consecrated in 1935. Such an interesting building was designed by the Miskolc architect Laszlo Menner. The main entrance to the Rock chapel was cut in a rock, the height of which reached 9 meters, and the width – 18 meters. In the war years the chapel was significantly damaged and its restoration lasted until 1965. The last restoration was carried out in 1995.

The Rock chapel is located near the Cave Bath. You can get here by bus number 2 from the central station of Miskolc.
