Festetics Palace deservedly considered one of the largest palaces in Hungary. It is located in a picturesque setting near Lake Balaton, in the ancient town of Keszthely. The history of this palace dates back to 1745.
Walking around the grounds of the castle complex, you can fully enjoy the splendor of its exterior and interior decoration, as well as admire the graceful fountains and monuments. During the tour, visitors invited to explore the unique collections of the Hungarian weapons, paintings and musical instruments. You can also visit the old library.
The guest wing of the castle are luxury ballrooms, which now hosts a variety of concerts, dances, readings or international moves.
From Budapest to Festetics Palace can be reached by train, which departs from the station Deli. If you intend to travel by car, you will need to go on the highway M7, and then turn to Székesfehérvár Balatonfüred.
